MEMORY LANE
Remember when Mr. Christy & Jon, worked directly with Senator Sugars, submitting for the first time in the history of the State Of Michigan, a fully re-written and computerized version of the 1972 laws and protocols governing E.M.S. in the State of Michigan. The original version was done via a type writer, Our version required hundreds of hours of work, and the State of Michigan adopted our version.

The reason this was done, is a local physician, as the Director of E.M.S. in Detroit area at that time, submitted for a new law that allowed an Emergency Room Doctor to revoke a State Paramedic License on the spot, at his/her whim, without recourse or a hearing for the Paramedic. Ok, very few of you will remember this…..as at the time, only Senator Sugars knew, and we were instructed keep our participation in writing the laws and protocols a secret. These are the base laws and protocols that Paramedics still follow today.
